Warranty and Care Plan Policy
Thank you for choosing T.L. Paul Jewelry Design. We take pride in crafting exceptional, custom fine jewelry meant to celebrate your life's most meaningful moments. Because of the custom nature of our design work and the unique characteristics of hand-selected gemstones, we want to clarify our policies regarding long-term maintenance and protection.
Our Warranty Policy
Due to the bespoke nature of custom manufacturing and the variable wear individual jewelry experiences over time, we do not offer a standard or lifetime manufacturer warranty associated with our products. Fine jewelry is delicate and subject to everyday wear, bumping, and environmental contact. While we hold our craftsmanship to the highest standard, structural changes, missing stones, or surface damage that occur after delivery are considered standard wear and tear rather than structural defects.
To give you complete peace of mind, we have partnered with the industry leader in jewelry protection to offer a comprehensive care option at the time of your purchase.
The JM® Care Plan (Jewelry Protection)
To ensure your custom piece stays in like-new condition forever, we offer the option to add a JM Care Plan during checkout.
The JM Care Plan is a specialized service contract that goes significantly beyond a traditional manufacturer warranty. It handles the essential maintenance required to preserve your jewelry’s integrity over a lifetime.
What is Covered?
Our care plan coverage includes normal wear and tear and accidental damage, ensuring you never have to pay out-of-pocket for standard repairs. Covered services include:
- Ring re-sizing to keep your piece fitting perfectly.
- Refinishing and polishing alongside rhodium plating to maintain that brilliant, high-polished luster.
- Repair of broken, bent, or worn prongs to keep your stones secure.
- Replacement of cracked or chipped stones (including center stones).
- Loss of diamonds or gemstones resulting from a defective setting or accidental damage.
- Repairing thinning bands/shanks or broken clasps, bracelets, and earring posts.
